Me? I'm Bo Flores, a 42 year old #fatkid born in New York, now living in Kansas City, Missouri. I ended up here after a wild ride of being a military brat...traveling the country and world, with the fam.

Meeting new people EVERYWHERE, and eating cool new food...ALL THE TIME. It all led me to the person I am today, blah blah blah.  (I only say "blah, blah, blah" because otherwise, this blog post would become chapter 1 of a book! lol)

There are a ton of stories that I'll get to throughout the life of this blog...as they relate to how my shooting style has evolved, or how my marketing strategies derived from something that I saw while at a small town "discotek" in Germany. 

I’m sitting in front of my computer looking up YouTube videos on photography almost 5 years into a hobby turned passion and I STILL love it! I’m excited about a shoot tomorrow like it was day 1. To be honest… I still get really nervous before any shoot. It’s crazy. I love the energy it gives me and I love the final products.

I think it’s that nervous energy that helps me be so meticulous during the shoot, but also throughout the whole process. From making sure things are right in person to making and editing the final product.

As a part of this learning process I’m going through right now, I’ve decided to start keeping a blog. Now, I’ve tried keeping a blog before, so bear with me and my growth process...but like everything “ya gotta start somewhere” and here I am!

My blog will vary in topics like “Lighting talk” or  “Lightroom talk” to “Taco Tuesday” and I'll be making several behind the scenes blogposts as well, so you can see where I'm shooting, poses, composition, angles and even all my camera settings!

 I’ll basically be documenting my processes and how it is I do things. I’m not preaching or saying it’s right or it’s best….I’m just sharing what I do.  

I LOVE to learn from other people...I really do. And I LOVE sharing/teaching something with others. The best part is, I feel that way about photography….what I do on a daily basis! It took 35 years of life for me to figure it out, but I did and I’m enjoying it!
